as for the synth tones.. yeah it's awsome.
but not quite convince on the tracking..
better throw a expression pedal on it and try to find the sweet spot.

I used to have an SYB-5. The tracking isn't too bad if you solo the neck pickup(if you have more than one) and roll the treble off on your bass. It's a pretty fun pedal but I didn't find it that useful. The tracking is ultimately the reason why I got rid of it. It tracks ok for the most part but when it glitches out or doesn't track what you're playing it is very noticalble.

It's actually extremely unique and interesting. I like it...the only thing I could really compare it to is the comet trails setting on the Line 6 FM4 on certain settings (kind of a bubbly sound). On other settings, it's just its own animal. Definitely a pleasant surprise and it's not so outrageous that it couldn't actually be used in a live band setting. The only thing is that it does NOT like any of the fuzz or overdrive I have in front of it.

PS - no low end loss.

Here's the latest arrangement of things. I'm thankful for great pedal-builders!

Nice one Shep, definitely some cool harmonic movement on that track.

"Cool harmonic movement". I like that! It's actually 'confused tracking and poor fretting' I think, but your description of it is waaaaaaay cooler!

Current board shots. Hoping to cram it into a PT-Jr soon, once some other stuff sells.

The current iteration, the more I learn the Timeline the more indispensable it is, and the Faye's Her I'm just getting acquainted with but I'm starting to find some awesome settings, really want to get the external controller when I get the cash, I bought myself a nice new jacket instead on black friday, my current one is getting close to retirement.

I really need at least one fuzz capable of some smoothness, thinking about getting a Pickle Pie B or a Swollen Pickle. And an Expressionator, the red headed step-child of my GAS list.
