The AW7 just made a brief appearance. Brought the Q-Tron and the Blowtorch back. IMO, the BT sucks as a fuzz with my set-up, but as a
light OD pedal, it works great. Here's the most recent set-up:

JBJBJJBJDFJJBY - i was just looking for an M9 when the JVH3 one popped up. i had an M5 here at the same time and a/b'd them. there was a TINY difference. i thought i could hear a little more clarity on the lower stuff. but it was kinda negligable. i'm more happy about the footswitch replacement (that, audio i/o mod, the overall volume knob are what were done to it). the DL4 i had busted quickish and that was always a problem. these feel sturdier. |

Very very nice clips. I somehow get why you have so many pedals - they really are in use and not just one pedal at a time in homeopathic doses for just the chorus of song nr xy. This is great. I listend to them a couple of times and saved them as bookmarks.
Thanks!
I'd love to see a vid of those livesessions with a cam focusing on your feet and bass... |

yah, i've got enough room to get more soundscapey toanz in this band. i'm really having fun. lis, we're going into the studio in about a month, definitely going to try to do some mid-recording video and do a dyi vid after we have some decent quality stuff down.
thanks! |

So, quick question, I have the same preamp and was wondering how the position of the knobs affects each setting. I've been trying to set a low overdrive setting to a switch, then a higher gain overdrive to the next, with a treble-less dubby sound as the third preset.
The manual was a bit sketchy on how to do this. So, I set the knobs for the 1st preset i want, double click it. Reset the knobs for preset 2, double click, then the same for preset 3? What if I need an on the fly volume change of a preset?
Sorry for the questions! Quote:

Sorry for the questions! | No worries, that's what Talkbass peoples are here for!
That's how you do it. If you need an on the fly volume change, you can tweak the volume knob to whatever you need. Then you can either double click to save, or it'll go back to your preset volume setting if you go to another preset (hit another switch) or power down.
Is that what you're asking?

Now, If the knobs have been tweaked from their original saved setting for that position, and I mess with the volume, how does that affect it? I.e., I messed around with the treble, bass, and volume knobs, click back to the 1st preset, and need more volume. Where is the volume knob set after being knocked out of position before switching to the preset?
