I keep moving things around, experimenting...

Right now I'm trying the Monarch (@ 15v) into the TFR and Bluebeard. Ok with the BB, not great with the TFR... Time to move it again, after the BB and TFR. It's good with the B3K after it, but what isn't?

Ch.2 is all spaceship synth like whooshing plasma gun kinda stuff, so that'll stay as is until I can afford more noise boxes.

in > schism > b3k > disaster transport > submarine > out
ch.1 - monarch > tall font russian > bluebeard > bmc
ch.2 - unpleasant surprise > bottom feeder > faye sing

Dual expression pedal is off the board but still in use... that lasted like, a day.

I guess I better update mine as well...

Added a Flashback and probably going to add some sort of compressor/limiter in the near future so I can actually use the Cubic (the Spector with emg's is too hot for it).

Mine's still looking like this:

However I have been toying with the idea of trying to get the Meatsmoke on there...

I picked up a ISO-5 supply for my mini board so I can run the Monarch at 18v and my Octaver at 12v. I think I'm going to end up using the Monarch as more of an amp simulator and the B3K as a distortion along with the Hoof for my fuzz.

I did too and then got one: with a bass mod and its never leaving. The amount of sounds possible are literally limitless!

Been putting this board together in stages over a few years, finally at a place where I like it well enough to post it. I made the board myself.

Chain is bass >> polytune >> MXR bass compressor >> SansAmp Deluxe >> (SansAmp FX loop: MXR bass octave deluxe >> MXR bass envelope filter >> Pork Loin >> LS-2 on A+B mix/bypass >> (LS-2 loop: bass big muff >> Mastotron) >> BF-3 flanger >> SansAmp FX return) >> nova delay >> IE Nimbus reverb >> amp

Power is run from a PP2+ and ISO5. Cabling could be cleaned up a bit, but here's the dirty underbits.

I'm working on a rehouse of an oversized shin-ei clone that might replace the mastotron, and I keep toying with the idea of replacing the nova with that sexy, sexy Strymon El Capistan, but for right now, I'm happy with things.

Loadstone, mmmmm.
I still dislike Wade, but that is nice looking.

I just kinda became a 'pedal guy' after ditching my synths. Realizing I need a pedal board now I said myself: "self, I have so many questions of how to do a pedalboard right"

Then, on this evening I realized what PYPB stood for...

Got turned down for a band tonight because "I've got too many effects". I chuckled and thought of you guys.

I've wondered about this. Do you take the full board to an audition? What would they think?

i believe it was the guitarist who said that ... drummer often donīt care that much about too many fx-pedals. for auditions i never bring my complete fx-board, only the basics: tuner (polytune), overdrive (sft), and preamp (vt bass). all other "toys" stay at home ... i hate fx discussions.

that's what I thought. Guitar being threatened by more fx that he has. Classic. altho sounds like a very basic setup, 1 fx is "too many"? Sounds like your better of anyway
