So I picked up a woodworked board with jacks and a power port because it was available with 16" of depth which made it much more versatile for placing pedals above "Wah-type" enclosures.
Anyway: Signal Path:
Tuner
Buffer
Y-box -> Dry Signal Out
Wilson Freaker Wah
Rat Tail
Blue Beard
Big Spider
Xerograph
Psilocybe
T1M Booster / Buffer
Malekko 616
Fuzzrocious Modulated Bass Delay
TB Loop (DD6)
Buffer
Y Box -> Effects Out
Meatsmoke -> Preamp Out | That Bluebeard looks good!

*Subject to change lol | Anyone have any suggestions for that last little something-something? I'm thinking maybe a ringmod? Can't be any bigger than the Hammond 1590bb.

Now I'm in the process of putting together my second board for my originals. I still have a spot for one more pedal, now I just need to think of what it is I still need/want. |

However, if I had a crapload of extra money laying around, I would totally get a second. It really is fantastic. I like to fancy myself a modulation connoisseur, and it knocked me on my butt how great it sounds. |

For those wondering if I have any signal left to make it to the amp ... the key is the Radial Big Shot EFX looper in the middle, and the Pork Loin and Compressor are always on (i.e. buffers). Loops are not activated unless one of those pedals are on (i.e buffers).
Planet Waves CT-04Tuner -> Way Huge Pork Loin -> MXR Bass Envelope Filter -> MXR Bass Compressor -> Radial Big Shot EFX -> Amp/DI
Loop 1: Way Huge Swollen Pickle -> EXH POG
Loop 2: Catalinbread Semaphore (Tremolo), Boss CEB-3 Chorus, MXR Carbon Copy Delay
What I use 80% of the time:

If you don't mind me asking, I'm guessing you're getting the Bass Chorus Deluxe from a shop in the States? Haven't seen any around our neck of the woods yet. |

I reaaalllllyyy need some kind of something to velcro these pedals too. I'm thinking a PT Jr. or PT1 when (If) I get a tax return. |

This is a larger version of the one that I bought.

Yes, I called Long & McQuade, who are great, but the Bass Deluxe is nowhere on their radar screens yet. I ordered from The Mad Ape in Washington state (eBay). $4.95 for basic USPS shipping to Canada. Not overly worried about custom charges ...have done it in the past and can't even recall the custom charges so it can't be that much! Will update when I get it. It was shipped out on January 2.

New board.
Pitchblack > Demon King > MF-104M (Mission EP-1 controlling delay time)
Powered off a 1 spot, the board is a piece of metal from a disassembled ambulance. I have a small old briefcase that it fits perfectly in, although I hope to re-do the foam in my flightcase so that it'll fit in there with my bass.
Everything I need, nothing I don't. Still tons of sonic possibilities. Really happy with this setup. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
