I have an m5 that I keep next to the board, but I don't need it for my country gigs. This is basically all I really need. Be nice on the geb7 settings, it's only on for the acoustic slow stuff, not full bandage |

...and here are my boards with the 'new' effects. Still have that blank spot for a distortion effect, probably an El Oso.
bass > big board > small board > amp
or, just: bass > small board > amp; if I want to 'keep it simple', which is why I split the big board into two.
It's an experiment...

Just finished some rearranging. Got my Gnomeratron VTF back from McSpunckle for repair. It had a grounding issue, that now resolved, has opened up new terrain of fidelity and good S/N that had been missing.
I have swapped out the 105Q bass wah for a Plutoneium Bass Chi Wah Wah. Love the tone, the smaller footprint, the shorter throw of the treadle, and the easy access to the controls.
Decided to bring back the BBM Pi cause I am very happy with the volume mod. Easy, cheap, and great results, (thank you TB).
Also returning is my Blues Driver. Had the Keeley mods done a while ago, (Phat and Freak mods) but had forgotten how much I enjoy it. Same with the Liqua-Flange, it's been absent for a while, but that thing kills it in a half dozen different ways.
After struggling with my SA MWBDP in jam settings, I have swapped it out for an SA Classic distortion pro. The Classic just seems to give me more of what I can relate to. I am really digging a clean boost, with a hi-mid boost in EQ, and maybe a little hair. Very satisfying.
The B3K is new, instant love.
The M5 stands in as my tuner, and my favorite octaver so far...
Set up my breakfast tray board with my leftover favorites, and the Utter Stutter feedback looper. Not currently useful in my band setting, but lots of fun on a Sunday, watching football with the sound off........
I recently scored the DOD FX25 filter off of CL, before I knew that a bass version existed. I like it so much I just bought the FX25B from ebay. It's a one trick pony, but a very extreme and fun trick.
Happy holidays, JBY

Happy holidays, JBY | Awesome, the Classic Pro/BEF Pro combo. I totally agree with you. I started with teh Classic Pro and recently got a MWBD Pro and it's just not as cool as the Classic. More people should try the Classic Pro.
Anyway, nice boards. I have the Classic/BEF/M5 as my main fx all controlled by midi. |

Together with the big board is pure sonic fuzzstruction....
So good, and with the B3K and Faye Sing, so many distortion flavors to choose from.
Still need to fill that empty space, but am totally broke for the next few weeks... lame.
PT-1
in (relay) > Schism > Disaster Transport > out (relay) > mini board
ch.1 - Bluebeard > Tall Font Russian
ch.2 - Unpleasant Surprise > Bottom Feeder > Faye Sing
Mini
in (relay/vol/mute) > BMC > B3K > Submarine Designer > out (relay/vol/mute)
The mute on the relay is after everything, so it's basically a kill switch.
The signal goes to the empty jack, which will have a Pitchblack hooked up to it tomorrow.

The gap is for the Second Voice Deluxe which should be here in a couple of weeks. There's a Turbo Tuner and 3rd expressionator hiding under the Flint. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
