| | | | Rack mountable removable pedal board I guess this goes here. I want to have my head and board in one unit to move, but I want to be able to pull my board out and put it on the floor in front of me. Are there any shelves that come out easily, as in without a screw driver? Also my head is a Fender Rumble 350 that is of an odd size so I'm going to screw it to a shelf to mount. Any ideas on how many spaces those two combined will take? I'm thinking 4, maybe 6. |

Or just build a drawer for it, home depot or the like should have parts to cobble it together. |

this one uses the cheap glides, like wheels in a track and could be removed tipping up shelf. may be awkward with gear bolted to it. http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/SLE1
I think it the long run, building a box and shelves yourself would be better. You could use bearing glides that have locks and quick releases. |

It sits on top of a shelf in my rack case and takes up about three units. Just pull the board out, hook up my cables and go. Everything goes right back in afterwards.
The head is super heavy with the board in there also but it's not really that big of a deal.

Those shelves look really good because the are low profile and not waste rack height. Now if can find where to buy them. |

I have an old Grundorf 4 space (plywood covered in grey "rat fur") that would probably work for something like you're talking about.
You could mount your rack mountable head into the cab with a powerstrip or whatever. Then take the back panel (the one without the handle on it) and mount 3 - 5 pedals to it via screws or simple velcro. It could work. I may have to try this out at some point.
Anyway it was just an idea.
