Roland GR1 Synth For Bass.

Hi All, Has anyone got any experience of using a Roland GR1
Guitar Synth on a bass. IE what was the tracking & sounds like.
Some years ago I used a strat copy with the GR1,And more recently Roland's latest guitar synth. And the GR1 leaves the new ones in the dark.But I have never heard or used one on a bass.......shezz
