I have been eye-ing this midi pedal for a while, because quite frankly, it looks kind of fun.
For those of you unfamiliar with the device, it's a foot pedal that hooks up to a midi device like a keyboard or laptop and trigger tones with your feet.
Truth be told, other than garage band stuff and maybe some goofing around, I don't have any *real* serious use for this. Unfortunately, they are damn near impossible to find used, and the $500+ price tag makes justifying the purchase of what will essentially be a toy, a little tough.
Does anyone have any experience with this device, or can possibly comment on how well it works? Or if there is maybe a cheaper alternative out there that I could check out to see if it's something I would use much?
Just looking for some feedback on easy this thing is to use and/or if there are other alternative out there. |
