Roland PK-5A

Hi,
Im not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I am trying to get my Roland PK-5A to connect to Kore Player.

The problem, that is occurring is that if I press and release a key, the sound that is generated lasts much longer than the amount of time my foot was on the pedal. Then, while thats happening the other keys wont make any sound (or be recognized by Kore Player) until that note has decayed.

I have tried using a regular Casio keyboard with my UNO midi connector in the exact same Kore Player setup and it works fine (the note is only played as long as I have held it for/ I can play any other keys as quickly as I would like).

I have found that the manual is helpful, but makes no mention of anything that I am experiencing.

If anyone has any ideas or help, it would be very appreciated!

Thanks
