Roland PK5 MIDI Synth Pedals

Anyone here use them? I'm thinking about getting a set to see if I can work them in. Are they decent pedals? Do they interface with say a Korg Triton Synth?

Thanks for the advice. Take care - Dennis

I have 2 sets, and they are great pedals. They should work with any sound source where you use the "Midi in" plug.If your source is a keyboard synth, you may have to tell it that the trigger is coming from a source other than the keys.

Great Thanks for the response! Do you use yours "stand alone" or with a synth? Can they be used Stand Alone?

I've never had my hands on these so Like Col. Shultz "I know nothing!"

Thanks for your help. You use them for cover tunes like RUSH?

I use 'em in a Rush trib. band. They are just a MIDI controller, no stand-alone. Have to have a source. They're great, durable, responsive. Can't complain. I haven't tried the others (Korg, etc.), but I know these are good.

I used 'em in a Rush tribute band (as well as others such as the MIDIStep), and the Roland ones are the best. I use 'em now in a cover band to trigger stuff as well (some things never change).
