I think you need MIDI. Does the GT6b have a MIDI in/out?

Yes it does but when i put midi out from pedals to midi in on the gt6b ....... Nothing

This is because the GT-6b is only an effects processor, you need a proper synth module that generates sounds to control with the pk-5

Actually you can use the controller to make patch selections, scroll or toggle through values, etc. But there still has to be some other device/instrument making a sound, in order to "hear anything".

I really want to try a set of these. I have a Proteus E-mu synth that I was planning to build a DIY set of pedals, but that project stalled. One came up on CL a few weeks back for $200, but I was too late.

Is there a difference between the PK-5 and the PK-5a? If you ever decide to sell them, thumbass, please PM me...
