Roland VB-99

Hello Bass Community!

What can you guys tell me about the Roland VB-99? I´m very interested in buying one, and actually I´m an owner of a Roland GR-20, which I use with a 6 string Ken Smith (GK-3B installed of course).

I´m interested in knowing if the unit really is what they charge you for: Do the modeling basses sound professional? Can anyone give me any pointers???!!!!!

I´m also openning this thread as a source for many others that like me, haven´t found much help regarding the experience of other users with the VB-99.

Thanks in advanced!!!

P.S.: I posted this before with Todd Johnson, but he told me he didn´t had any experience with this device.

Roland VB-99

The basses emulations are astounding.
You'll need to learn to program the beast a little in order to get juice out of it.
The presets are starters but not fantastic , it can do so much better.

And there is also this site wich is full of GK infos in general.
