After a few weeks, I wish the Radial had a clean blend. It works really well for synthy volume swells and has a pretty nice tuneable OD but loses the deep lows when engaged. Oh well! You live and learn...

I have to agree with the EHX English Muff'n, both pros and cons. Save for one: there absolutely needs to be a twin-channel option, with one being the tubey-clean that we think of when we think tubey, and the lead that we have come to know and love from the existing pedal.

The same also holds true for the Mesa/Boogie V-Twin. It was so frustrating, that I traded it, along with my Boss Rotary Ensemble, EHX BMS (big chassis), and my beloved Roland Jazz Chorus, just for a big Mesa/Boogie Mk. III head that I can't even use in my own house.

EHX Black Finger, hefty A/C power supply, billed as an optical compressor but does a nice overdrive, shame it's huge.

Blackstar HT-Dual is the best high voltage tube based overdrive/distortion pedal I've tried. Had the EBS and Dan Hall and neither did it for me. Have heard good things about the ehx tube zipper.

Carl Martin Bass Drive. I was reading a gear magazine earlier today and I saw an ad for it, looks pretty promising.
