Anyone ever tried this on bass?

I was reading around about the band Dragged into Sunlight, and apparently their bass player uses it. He's got a pretty nasty tone.

No reason why it wouldn't work. I own an Atomic Booster and I love it. Also owned a Love Squeeze and it was great as well. Rothwell quality can't be denied.

Except that most distortions lose low end. Quality has zip to do with it.

fair enough, what I meant was it should work since it has a tone and volume control. the Hellbender's circuit also has adds back the lows after the distortion stage from what I have read in the past

Yeah the low end was my real concern, but he doesn't seem to be losing any. DiS has one hell of a low end.
His setup as far as I know is a Yamaha 5 stringer->Matamp->4x12's??
