Running a boss loopstation in the effects loop of my mixer?

Sign in to disble this ad
Wondering if this would cause any problems,

The reason: I run a drum synthesizer on my drummer's acoustic kit, my vocals, and his snare mic through a rack mounted mixer on individual channels each. The mixer has two effects loops, FX loop A has reverb, limiter, gate and FX loop B has a flanger and delay. I also run a bass synthesizer rack unit through this mixer, and occasionally my looped bass guitar.

The idea would be to be able to loop any of the above instruments going through the PA mixer and play them back to create rhythmic patterns or sample a snare crack or bass synth line and play it back through the effects in effects loops A and B.

Anyone foresee any problems with this?

I'm using the Boss Loop Station RC-20.
