Running a MicroPOG on AC vs DC?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi all,

I've been running my MicroPOG on DC since I got it, but in the manual it says to use only AC.
(I don't have an AC adapter)

Is there a tone difference?

Also - It says to use at least 200mA - but I have been able to run it on as low as 60-100mA of DC with no huge change in tone that I can tell.

Should I be using AC?

Thanks, smo

The adapter that comes with it is an AC to DC adapter- it puts out DC power. DON'T run it on just AC! I've run it on 100mA with no issue as well.
