I have been scouring the internet looking for how to do the tone bypass mod on a Black Russian Muff with no luck. All of the links I have found have dead ends. I can't read a schematic, but if you tell me to cut wire x or replace x capacitor with another cap I can do that. Any help out there? Thankski! |

Each version has different layouts. |

This will help me/us tell you what value resistor and cap you need to clip.
cracked_machine - asking what version he has isn't trolling. You would know this if you knew anything about muffs...Do note that no one else has even replied to this posting. |

If you donīt know the version, you could take a couple of gutshots.

It's as simple as disconnecting the ground side of 1 resistor and cap, tying them to the center lug of a spdt, and connecting one lug to ground. |

Connect both together like I mention in the post above. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
