Question Sacramento area repair/modder?

I searched, to no avail. I have a beat-up old UE-405 that I'd like to get worked on. The effects all work fine but the foot pedal's cord is shredded in a couple of places & the jack is missing pieces, although functional. Small-part soldering(or pretty much any soldering)is better done by anyone besides me. I wouldn't mind shipping this item to & from a reputable repairperson(any capable TBers, feel free to chime in)but doing it in person would be better.

I could do it.

Seriously, I probably could. But I'm not in Sacramento as often as I used to be. I have family up there, but law school eats all my time... I'm going up there this weekend, though.

As far as repair people / modders go, I've never actually looked for any out there. What about the SF Bay Area? There are a lot of great resources in the North Bay (Santa Rosa, Berkeley, etc.).
