Sans Amp BDDI

So I think I think my BDDI bit it. It turns on and still functions as a preamp but the drive feature no longer works. I've tried it on different basses and different amps, its def. the pedal. Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it? Do I just need to send it in to be repaired?

thanks for the link. do you know what this Putnam guys prices are like? Or had any dealings with him?
