What the blue blazes is "an qmp"? If you meant "amp", then what kind of amp do you mean? Better yet, what particular amp do you mean? And by "push" do you mean push into overdrive/distortion, or just feed at normal levels?

Short answer, most likely yes.

Long answer, as long as you have the variant that has a switch to change from intrument level to line level on it, then you can drive a power amp just fine. The older ones (made more than 5 or 6 years ago) didn't have this and won't drive most power amps adequately. Set the 1/4" out to line and it will drive your power amp.

Yes. Just set it to "line."

I'm quite interested in the outcome of this; I want to get the MBP115 extension cab for my combo, but the combo would require a mod to make it compatible, so that the output is hot enough to power the extension cab. Would this pedal overcome the need for the mod?

I use mine to go straight into my mini stereo system... I suppose that's 'pushing a power amp', kinda!

No. Just because it can drive a power amp does not make it a power amp.

In fact, I'm not sure what sort of mod you think will make your combo's output "hotter".

I *think* he meant he was driving, so he couldn't answer.

(I hope)

This device will drive a power amp (set the output level switch to "line"), but it won't replace one (it won't adequately drive headphones on its own).
