Sign in to disble this ad
Im having trouble deciding if i wanna put the Sans amp before the amp or in the effects loop....i have it in my pedal board now but am thinking about putting in the loop.... Anyone have any experience with this. Also in the pedal board where do you have your sans amp.

most pedals sound much better before the pre-amp, this one included.

If you experiment. Try it, that didn't hurt anything.

If that sound good for you, keep it in this way.

But, by my experience, a sansamp will sound better in the effect loop, bypassing the preamp of your amp.

having it in front of your preamp will let you run straight DI if your amp decides to die on you. It's why many people have a DI box at all.

I have never used an effects loop that I liked. I always go in front of the amp.

I have tried both. I def like better in front and also I can use it as a DI there. I also seem to remember losing a little bit of volume in the fx loop. And - I can just keep it on the pedal board on the floor with the others.
