| | | | Sans Amp RBI setup issue

For a while I had used a Sans Amp Programmable DI with my setup of A Mesa Bigblock 750, 362 Sonic Maximizer, and a Zoom B2.1U. I recently upgraded to a Sans Amp RBI rack mount. I'm not really sure of the exact order I should put these processors in to receive the optimum tone. Also I'm not 100% sure of the exact inputs I should plug my chords into in the back of the sans amp due to the fact there's more inputs and outputs than the pedal. I know this is a pretty armature question, but I need help. Thanks.

So, I'd plug my bass into the Zoom, plug the Zoom into the front input of the RBI, then connect RBI to Maximizer, and then run to the amp. Alternately, you could connect the Maximizer in the FX loop of the RBI.
I'm sure there are other ways to connect your gear that would work just fine. |

| | | | Thanks for the info. Would you run the Sans Amp through the effects loop of the Mesa Bigblock or some other way? I haven't had a chance to try it out yet considering my rig is at my band's practice space.

I recently picked up a used RBI to try out and was kind of surprised to find it doesn't have a ground lift...did they add this on the newer models or are they all without the ground lift?

The manual for the RBI is pretty good in describing how to connect it. I run mine through my effects loop on a GK 1001RB-II.
There is no ground lift on my RBI and it was new 4 months ago.

| Exactly what inputs and out puts on the back of your Sans Amp do you use?
Do you plug your bass into the San Amp or the GK 1001RB-II?

| Thanks, that's exactly what I needed.
