Sansamp Bass Driver D.I.??

Looking for some reviews for a Sansamp bass driver programmable D.I. from people who have these, or at least used them. I want a little bit of a dirty sound.

Recommend this, or anything else?

They simulate tube break up pretty well in my opinion. You can get a nice smooth tone by plucking softly and then drive it by increasing force.

For over all grit though, and not neccesarily distortion, I'd go with the VT Bass, which is a little closer to the Ampeg SVT sound.

Both are excellent pedals, but it's apples and bananas. Take them for a spin if you can.
