Sansamp Bass Driver Deluxe: FX-loop parallel or serial?

Hi, I´m thinking of buying a Tech21 Sansamp Bassdriver Deluxe (or the programmable and a Lehle Parallel). Does anybody know if the FX-loop is parallel or serial? That would be the reason to buy it (or the other 2, more expensive ones)...

Even if it is parallel, it doesn't seem to have any controls to blend the FX loop signal with the straight signal. So I'd say it's in series.

Well, that wouldn´t matter, as I want to put the BOSS RC50 Loopstation in there, which has plenty of In- and Output-Volumes to blend. But it´s the only digital device in my chain and I´m only using it occasionally, so I don´t want to "destroy" my analog sound, which I thoughtfully build with very few very high quality FX (from amp to instrument: Carvin Vintage 16 (1 channel all tube amp), Empress Tremolo, Fulltone Fulldrive 2 Mosfet, Voodoo Lab Wahzoo, Strat/Paula/Takamine Limited 2005/Amistar Amicaster or National Resolectric)
So if it´s parallel with no blend that´s just fine ;o)

PS I´m mainly a guitar player, and this is for my unplugged shows. I also like the second Input on the Sansamp BassDriver Deluxe, so when I change instruments and play a little Bass line, I don´t have to unplug and replug...
