Which Sansamp BDDI?

The one with one slider switch on the case or the [newer?] one with 3 switches. Any advantages/preference of one or the other?

No one can answer this?

Your question isn't very clear. The specific model names and what your desired results are huge factors in what you wish to achieve.

The programable BDDI with 3 presets? If thats the model you are refering to. I have the programable and enjoy it. I like the ability to store 3 different sounds.

No, not the programmable one. Just the simple Bass Driver DI. Earlier ones have one switch, later models 3. Trying to decide which one to keep.

Um...do you feel that you will ever need line level outputs?

Get the three switch model unless you find the single switch model for a great price and don't need the other switches.

I guess nobody got the memo that there was a ten-hour time limit to reply... :eyebrow:

10 hours IS a long time to go without an answer on here.

But then you end up with all of the "I guess the OP can't be troubled to respond" posts. There's no winning. ;-)

Ya, there is an element of the TB crowd who are really nerdy, picky, and whiny. My dad says, "People like that would complain if you hung them with a new rope."

cybersnyder 12-27-2012 07:31 PM

I'll have to remember that one.

I lolled at that one :)

Well my totally unbiased opinion is to keep both and possibly buy a couple more as backups. ;)

The newer version is more versatile in terms of interfacing with different gear. The XLR output on the older unit is always padded down unless you cut the trace to the resistor. You might think they sound different but you can't set the controls in an identical manner to judge because the pots used are all a little different. When we test we use an oscilloscope.
