SansAmp bddi and Djent

Can I get a djent tone out of a sansamp bddi? I'm looking for a tone similar to Nolly's from Periphery. I know the sansamp does an overdriven Ampeg tone well, but the important question is: will it djent?

Nolly uses the Darkglass B7K, and that's what I ended up getting to get that same kind of tone. I did find this thread though that has some insight on the differences between the bddi and the b3k which would just be the b7k with out the 4 band eq.

Spent the last hour A/B-ing the B3K and the BDDI

Yeah. I'm looking for one that serves a s a DI as well, and I don't want to spend $400.

They love asking if it djents there. I've been banned from there so many times.

I've never tried the BDDI before, but I'm sure it'll do the trick. Lots of touring bassists use it. I like the B3k and will probably snag a B7K in the future. I'll be using it for a completely different genre, but I think either or will do it for ya'.
