| Sansamp DI sounds way too muddy

Hello TB,
I have been testing this Sansamp programmable DI.
The rig I tried to was an 8x10 ampeg and a GK solid state head I forgot the model.
The bass is a P bass fender.
I tried playing with the knobs a little bit and with the little manual I found on their website.
During a couple of practices I figured the EQ on the amp has to be all off, cause I hear I weird loud hum If I dial in the EQ from the amp. I also read the manual about not using the amp EQ.
But I see that the sound is very muddy. I think I am dialing the pedal to sound like an SVT amp.
Do you know some dialing so it sounds less muddy? I mean lately I had to just turn the pedal off and use the amp's EQ, cause it's just too muddy. |
