| Which SansAmp to Pair with MXR KFK-1 EQ

Hi - I'm new to effects and really just want good versatile tone and TubeAmp emulation without alot of effects. Can you offer any suggestions among the following SansAmps:
1. BDDI
2. Paradriver
3. RPM
4. RBI
I have read just about all the threads I could find on the above, all of which sound great in their own way. What I'm wondering is with the MXR 10 Band Eq and ability to control the mids, will the Paradriver, RPM, or RBI add much more to the mix, especially given the increased cost of of the latter two? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Currently, I would probably lean toward the RBI given everything I've read, but I wonder if the MXR Eq would be able to make the other units similar to the RBI or RPM tone wise. Thank you. |
