Sansamp RBI troubleshooting

Sign in to disble this ad
Morning, I need some advice on getting the best out of my Sansamp RBI which I've just purchased. I'm currently running this from the unaffected slot of the RBI into the input of my Hartke HA3500 pre-amp and I'm going into the RBI's input.

I've turned the EQ off on the Hartke but I'm getting nothing from the RBI in terms of variety of tones.

Am I doing something wrong or can someone give me some advice on how to run the RBI into the Hartke preamp.

Thanks

Yes, you've bypassed the RBI entirely by routing the Uneffected output to the Hartke. I use it for a tuner output, for example.

Edit: did you get the manual with it? It's really very helpful. If you didn't, contact Tech 21 and they'll get you sorted.

Thanks, I bought 2nd hand so no instructions. Can you recommend what connections may work running the following - bass, rbi, hartke preamp, speaker cabinet?

Use the other output!

PM or email me with your email adress. I'll send you the manual.

yep, just use the effected output into the input or the effects return of the head and you're good to go.
