Got a Sansamp bass driver DI for Christmas. Besides the owners manual settings, I haven't had opportunity to experiment in a live band setting. I would be appreciative of any input from owners sharing their favorite settings for their style. (I play all genres, so I'm really interested in what you play and what defines YOUR sound). Could be as simple a format as 1 through 10 on each pot, Level, Blend, Treble, Bass, Drive, and Presence.
Thanks in advance! |

I like an aggressive tone with plenty of mids, so this is how I run it:
Level - to taste
Blend - 10
Bass - 4
Treble - 3.5
Drive - 5
Presence - 8

level= 4.5 (to taste)
blend= 7-10 (depending on my hearing at the time)
bass= 6
trebble= 4.5
drive= 4
pressence=6
What about everyone else?

wanted to bump this in case anyone else would like to add! | Has anyone got any suggestions for a full, rich fretless tone with the BDDI?

How can it be "after the effects loop but before the amp" if your effects loop is typically connected to the amp at the effects loop send/return patchbay?
Or do you really mean it's the last thing in the effects loop chain?

Or do you really mean it's the last thing in the effects loop chain? | The latter. I should have specified, my FX run through a blend/loop pedal. So it goes Bass > Blender (FX signal/clean signal) > SansAmp > Amp.
Sorry to cause any confusion |

Level - 12:30
Blend - 2:00
Treble - 12:30

Presence - 1:00
Fingerstyle on a Precision through an Ampeg combo with all EQ set to 12:00 and volume/tone rolled up. |
