Sansamp with an SVT?

Anyone have experience running the SABDDI into an SVT? I have listened to various videos on youtube with people getting a great distorted sound out of these - yet I have read on TB where these wont help improve the sound of a big amp like the SVT.

I found this video that has a sound I am chasing with my own SVT:

Just curious of anyones experience using this behind a big tube amp.

i think you might be better off going SS if your after that kind've sound.

I've used mine through my svt quite a bit, just as a different color so to speak. I don't think that you need that specific set up for that sound though. You could pull that out of pretty much any amp and jazz style bass.

It would be a little tougher for me to be that bright as I use strings that are older than yoda until they break or crumble into dark matter.

that very well could be a b-15, but his approximate tone is about that.. and hes always had SA into svt
