I just got my sansamp BDDI off ebay, with no wall wart.

As I intend to use this as a preamp, i would like the ease of having a wart.

I found a dc power supply from my keyboard, here are it's specs:
input: 100-240 V ~ 1.0A MAX
50-60Hz
output: + 12V 1.5A
output power 18 W max

Tech 21's power supply says its a 100-120W input.

Can i use this power supply without frying my new pedal? whats with the output power? i don't know these things and the last time I tried something like this I fried my external hard drive.

Come to think of it, I think this is the actual power supply for that external hard drive... that doesn't bode well...

Don't do it. You want 9 volts.
