Scratch and Sniff Envelope Filter

Which envelope filter am I looking for if I want a sound similar to that found on Snake Oil by The Tony Williams Lifetime and Scratch and Sniff by the Flecktones (with Victor Wooten) Live at the Quick?

According to Bela Fleck & the Flecktones' website that's what he uses .

FYI sounds like a down filter just incase you get an EBS and get stuck
