I have a Boss DS-1 in one side of my parallel FX setup. It sounds horrible, but in a good way. It is gnarly and nasty. I'm looking for something similar but better to replace it. I'm thinking DS-1/Rat/Animato sounds, but without the Animato budget. Less bass loss than the DS-1 is highly desirable. Fun oscillations and other extra features are not essential, but will not be frowned upon.

A Devi pedal could do oscillations on a lower budget. |

Sounded like a square wave synth or ring mod.

I do have sound samples of the rocktron utopia b100 on my soundclick website. here's the link. SoundClick artist: Crystalman85 - page with MP3 music downloads

| | Coffee junkie | | Join Date: Nov 2007 Location: Norway | | Check out the Red Witch Fuzz God II. It's perfect for those times I need unhealthy doses of fuzz. At max gain it instantly feedbacks in between notes. There is some bass loss, but not much, and I don't really mind. And you can tune in some pretty fun sounds with the "Wrath of God" mode. |
