Sellers Regret???

Sign in to disble this ad
What effect have you sold and then regretted it later?
Mine is an EBS Valve Drive. At the time I sold it I was playing only synthy stuff. Now I have a use for subtle organic OD and no Valve Drive, which was the best tube OD for that sound.

What pedals have you sold and later though,"what was I thinking?"

Snarling Dogs Mold Spore.

Had no use for it when I sold it, and not even sure if I'd use it now tbh... but nothing I've tried since sounds like one.

Moog MF-104 Delay, Mutron III, and Zvex Wooly Mammoth. Playing upright makes you do some strange things sometimes. I wish I had all those back now because I could use them in the new project I've got going.

Pitbull I just recently picked up a Mold Spore. It's a pretty unique pedal.

Boss GEB-7 and a DOD FX52 Classic Fuzz, luckily I'm getting the DOD back from the kid I sold it to. I also really miss my DOD FX101 Grind Rectifying Overdrive. I wish I still had that thing

Frantone Lo Tone Fuzz. I just didn't feel like I needed a fuzz at the time.

BYOC Ram's Head Big Muff. Sold it cause it wasn't quite beefy enough for my taste but then missed it for 8 string stick. Fortunately it wasn't what the buyer needed so I'm getting it back.

Micro Q-tron. I thought I would be able to replace my filter tone without trying it first in a band context. Wrong.

After many months I was able to snake a big box Qtron+ for $40 dollars. I've since rehoused it into a box smaller than the current Qtron+, so it's all good now.

It sucked in the in-between, though.

GK Diesel Dawg. Really cool sound, but the enclosure was just to big.

Digitech Bass Whammy and Guyatone BR-2...obviously because of the cost of replacing them, if you even can.

DOD Death Metal. Not a great pedal and completely useless in real life, but I sold it to pay bills and only got $10 for it. Lot's of fun I'm missing out on for a measly $10 bucks. Not too mention you can't get DOD anymore.

Old Yamaha RGX guitar... 1988... Metallic Red.. Best Floyd Rose copy EVER... Traded it for a (Much needed) Line 6 2x12 Flextone. Decent trade, but man oh man, I miss that guitar...

Ibanez Stereo Chorus CS9, man it was dumb of me to get rid of that... I bought it in 1981, kept it until 1991, and then sold it and my tube screamer to get a rack mount ART effects unit...

Maestro Brassmaster! I sold it for $10 back in the day only to see people paying just stupid $$ for them now.

BJFE Blueberry Bass Overdrive.

Loved it,sold it when I sold all my pedals to start over. Of all the pedals I've ever sold, it's the one I miss most.
