A SEM for SEV (10 days with the Mistress)

Sign in to disble this ad
I decided I want a flanger, so I popped into the LMS (thats Local Music Shop ) to check out the SEM from EHX... of course I tried it out first though a SWR while playing an SRX... results were pleasant, so I decided to take her back to HSH for some TLC! Sadly my BOC as well as my ampage is MIA (actually at a friend's house) so I am SOL until tomorrow. I intend to abuse the SRP and possibly return it after 9 days with the mistress.

I'll let you know my reactions when I get more time with her.

LOL, that's one of the best posts ever. I can't figure the "SOL".

Here ya go!

I decided I want a flanger, so I popped into the Local Music Shop to check out the [Stereo Electric Mistress] from [Elecrto-Harmonix]... of course I tried it out first though a SWR (it's an amp company... if you don't know what it is, why are you here? ) while playing an [Ibanez] SRX [-705 bass]... results were pleasant, so I decided to take her back to [Home Sweet Home] for some [Tender Love and Care]! Sadly my [Bass of Choice] (the Carvin 6-string fretless?) as well as my ampage is [Missing in Action] (actually at a friend's house) so I am [S*&# Out of Luck] until tomorrow. I intend to abuse the [Store Return Policy] and possibly return it after 9 days with the mistress.

I'll let you know my reactions when I get more time with her.

hahaha good translation

I don't think I am going to keep it... I can't find a setting that I really like/think I can use... everything sounds much deeper with it on... I'll probably go try out some other flangers... Boss is on my list of to try's

I'll see about the review...

As with most EHX effects, she's rather "out there"... so if you don't like her, I can forgive you.

But if you're going to return her, don't tell her. And do it before she tricks you into going to Vegas!

I returned it.

I found some decent sounds but I couldn't justify the price. I actually don't like the flanger sound it gets, I like the chorus of my CH-1 better, I found a setting that sounded like falling into grace by red hot chili peppers aka MXR autoQ type sounds. I also have no use for the flanger matrix.

I just cant use it!
