Several of the DI/overdrive units have the dual channel feature you're looking for. Whether their distortion fits your needs is another matter, though. Offhand, there's the Hartke Bass Attack and the MXR M80. Not sure if the Darkglass B7K or the Aguilar Tone Hammer do that, but they may.

The Aguilar does not do it. It has a bass, treble, matter volume, gain, mid frequency and mid volume. When you activate the boost/overdrive/cts (I believe they call it a cts circuit) all it does is boost the gain knob some amount...not sure how much. It sounds great, the only thing I dislike is that it boosts your over all volume so much, that it is un usable for me. It would be awesome if the overdrive part did have it's own volume.
The MXR does have a separate level for when you engage the distortion. But the distortion may be a bit modern or intense for those just looking for a little tubey warmth.

That might be the case with the Aguilar, you can turn it down quiet a bit...but they should have added a separate volume. I may have to try the mxr one just for that feature
You should know something about the settings I'm using for these. This is distortion channel ON, obviously. And by default the "color" EQ is engaged, a bit like a cab sim on a BDDI--but I've probably bumped up the mids to compensate a bit. Anyway, distortion on about 50%...but the mix knob is at about 1/4. That's it.

It has an independant boost (works independently from the distortion).
The Fulltone Bass Drive and THC Bass Juice or Vintage Bass Drive (roughly same pedal) have a boost which works in conjunction with the distortion. The Tone Hammer has a distortion but it only works if the tone control/boost is on. It's reversed from the other.

I have also been looking at the OKKO Basstard, I've checked some of the demos and to my ears sounds really well, not fizzy as many other distortion pedals out there.
I'm suprised this pedal is not more popular.
