Sludgy stoner doom metal effects

just wondering what kind of effects do you think would be good for sludgy doom metal other than Fuzz, thick ass fuzz, distortion, Heavy ass distortion, overdrive, and really heavy overdrive.

Wah / low pass filter is a must, chorus / phaser / delay can also work during quieter trippier moments.

that thread is not about bassists, its where the majority of the stoner/doom bass players on TB chat about all things stoner and doom, including amps, effects, basses, strings and everything else. There are a lot of people with a lot of experience that could help you with your questions. I suggest you post your question there as most of us hardly venture out to the rest of TB anymore and most won't see this post.
