Something like an Echobox?

I like the features of the Echobox but i don't really use delay. I was wondering what else out there can change the speed, time and repeats(whatever that means)?

also whats the price of the echobox?

First off, the Echobox goes for $225 on tonefactor.com. Secondly, most delays have a delay time control, and a repeats control (the number of repeats). Regarding the speed control, which controls the speed of the modulation on the delays, some delays with modulation have this control but others don't. Also, why do you want the features of a delay if you don't use delay?

i want something to go at the end of my pedals. i was looking at something like the devi ever ok which makes the sound stutter. Maybe i just need to put my boss tremolo at the end. I like the idea of taking whats looped and messing with the time, speed etc..

The DD-7 is supposed to have modulation but I haven't heard it. But, I still love my Echobox!

Check the TB wiki for a Echobox clip i made.

I'm not actually sure what kind of effect i'm looking for lol It kinda sounds like a chorus but... yeah.

WHO CARES, i love my echobox

You should get it bjazz, it has a natural decay switch so you can have the pedal do some short looping :] Almost like a Hold Tempo option.

Maybe a true pitch-modulating vibrato with several controls?

"Maybe a true pitch-modulating vibrato with several controls?"

-who makes that?

the dd-7 is looking like a winner but i'd have to try it out. it would be cool to get rid of my boomerang with this one too since the rang takes up alot of real estate

Well you could buy a used Boss VB-2, or one of its clones such as the BBE Mind Bender. Do you want a delay pedal?

I don't understand exactly what it is you're trying to achieve. From what you've said it kind of sounds like you're using a looper, and you want to place a pedal after the looper to alter the sound of the loop, am I right so far?

yes. right now im using an inverter so that the looper goes back to the beginning of the effects chain. But i want something that i can get percussive with. I like the boss tremolo but i want something i can mess with the speed and possibly modulation with.

Ok so you want to be able to vary the speed and depth of whatever effect you're looking for. And you want to get "percussive"? In what way? And can you describe the kind of sound you're trying to achieve more?

Generally speaking, you don't alter the "modulation", the modulation has paramaters that you alter, like speed, depth, regen, etc.

He's trying to get the Echobox Modulation effect i believe. Check out the TB wiki for the echobox clip.
