I just recently bought meself a Boss CE5 Chorus. I've been enjoying playing around with it on my own (through my Fender Precision), but would be interested in knowing what songs are out there where you can hear it being used. One song I can think of is "Rooster" by Alice in Chains and "Walking on the Moon" by the Police seems to be using it, too.
Can anyone here give any other good examples to listen to? |

as well as nirvana. anything grunge, it seems. they wanted weird wobbly sounds, and thats where they seemed to get it

Jaco & Pino spring to mind immediately.
I have an old Boss CE-3 stomp box, but haven't used it in years.

i was thinking about running a loop of the chorus and an EQ, but the CE5 sounds like a cheaper option.

Plus there's a mix knob (it might be called "effects level") to mix the amount of dry and chorused signal.
It's digital, so it eats batteries like crazy -- one reason I decided to find me an analog chorus. :-) |
