Sonic Maximizer with drop tuning?

Sign in to disble this ad
curious if anyone has any experience using sonic maximizers with drop tunings, i'm tuned to CGCA. i have some extra rack space and may pick up a used 422A as an inexpensive way to bring out the note definition lost when tuning this low.

my rig is a gibson ripper > SVT-CL > 810e. i find the speakers to be on the muddier end.

any thoughts?

Ryan Martinie from Mudvayne plays drop tunings with a Sonic Maximizer. If his tone is anything to go by, they work excellent together.
