I haven't yet arrived close to the way I would like to slap and pop, is there a processor that can simiulate the slap and pop style?

No. Just learn the technique, get a blister or two on the way because you just can't stop once you get into it and listen to lots of early flea and alert graham for right hand techniques . Once you have the right hand watch some mark
King you tube tuition an get the left hand sorted . Then get on over to victor Wooten . Between these four players you should have all the beginner to advanced starter basslines you ever need. I remember learning from flea Starbucks video (when we had videos) and its pretty easy to follow. Persistence and blisters an imagine you are playin to a drum beat

It's not a pedal, but it works.

I came upon and old string from Marcus Miller (thanks Bass Tech) and grabbed some dead skin cells. With these super potent cells I was able to grow a perfectly cloned thumb on the back of a rat. I then had a surgeon (underground/backyard variety) sew it on as a replacement. The color doesn't match, but look out Poogie Bell!!
