I'm interested to hear any samples of Line 6 Stompbox modellers if anybody has any. Especially the FM4. I mean, I heard Justin Chancellor tried one out.

I'd really like to here the 'jet fuzz' on the DM4 which is supposed to be an emulation of the roland jet phaser

I'd like to hear the "Voice box", "Comet Trails" and synth settings on the FM4.

Perhaps if I set in one of the synth settings, and then modulated it so it was shifted one octave up with an expression pedal, that would be in interesting excuse for a whammy pedal. That would be nice for Lateralus, Schism, or The Pot. Not sure how it would do on harmony settings, though.

Perhaps the FM4 would be a nice stompbox for bass. I can't think of many guitarists who would make their guitar sound like a synth, but I think a synth emulator would be perfect for a rendition of "Time Is Running Out".

If you search, Solarplanelasses (or something like that) did a big thread including sound samples of the moogerfooger freq box, line 6 fm-4 and zvex woolly mammoth. It's a very interesting listen!

I'm not sure if he used it on that song, but Chris Wolstenholme does actually use an FM-4.

I know. He uses an Akai deep impact pedal on Time is Running Out.
