Soundclips - Danelectro CC-1 Chorus Part II

Sign in to disble this ad
I recorded some miced clips this time. I am pretty bad at recording, so they don't sound nearly as good as they do in person.

The first clip has the eq at 12 o'clock, the mix at 12 o'clock, the depth at 3 o'clock, and the rate at 9 o'clock. I tried to cop this tone - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_z8PkA0wK5Q

The second clip is a leslie chorus tone, with the eq at 12 o'clock, the mix at 12 o'clock, the depth at 9 o'clock, and the rate at 4 o'clock.

Make sure to max the volume on the zshare files. It comes up at half if you don't.

I think that pedal sounds good, even compared to my Analogman Chorus, though not as deep if that's what you're going for. I can't remember, is your version the 18v version?

Yeah, I would like it to be a little deeper. It sounds deeper in person actually, but I definitely could go deeper. This is my version, the new 9V series http://www.musiciansfriend.com/produ...dal?sku=482331

I dig the Danny chorus pedals. I like the older DC-1 better than the CC-1 though even though it takes up much more space on a pedal board.

zshare never works for me.

Could you post on soundclick.com or putfile.com?

Also, what kind of bass are you playing through the pedal?

I tried putfile.com and the clips wouldn't load. Also, I can't export mp3 files, so I can't use soundclick. I am using a passive jazz bass.

Yeah, putfile won't upload anything I try to load on there now either. But you can get free software that will convert to mp3's, I think I was using something called Media Coder, and it works fine, all my soundclick soundclips went through that.

Thanks for the clips, they sound great!!!

Now to decide between this one or the old bigger 18V one.

Thanks again, soundclips just speak better than dozens of threads.

Yeah no problem, this pedal is certainly more versatile, but maybe the old one has a better sound idk I haven' tried it.
