Well, I feel confident this club is going to grow since these guys make such a killer product. I thought it necessary to get these guys some more exposure here on talkbass especially since their new Bass Multiwave Distortion pedal is so incredible.

Not only do they make great products, their customer service is just hands down the best in the business I have had the pleasure to experience. They do great videos showcasing their products and communication with Will (another TB member) and Roger is just great.

Their website is : http://www.sourceaudio.net/
Please check out their videos and soundclips. If you have not had the pleasure to check these things out, do so at your earliest convenience.

I have a basic soundclip that I made to just sample some of my presets found here: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/defa...songID=8618134

Please feel free to PM me with a request for number and let me know what pedal you have.

Okay, so here goes.

My first club on Talkbass! I'm psyched.

Chris, you're the man for making this! Definitely keep those clips coming...they sound great! Also, I have to say, I caught a few good tricks from the presets you made on your pedal. Clever stuff for sure!

I just saw the thread about the issues and love the display of customer service! I have been on the market for a new distortion pedal and like the sound/look of this one, will def. purchase a soundblox pro next month!

Good call!!! They really do kill. You will not be displeased. For sure, the Pro is a great way to go... of course I am a little biased...

Are there any demos around of the older, non-Pro version of the Multiwave Bass Distortion?

To my knowledge, the non-pro didn't release until the pro came out, despite being shown at NAMM a couple of years ago. Either way, the non-pro will sound the same, it just won't have the presets.

Or the expression pedal option?

Everything you need to know about the standard Multiwave Bass Distortion can be found here

I have not made any videos with the standard, but I have used it quite a bit. The sounds are the same, it just lacks the presets and expression pedal of the Pro Series.

Considering that the expression control morphs between presets, I figured that could go unspoken, but, correct, no morphing.

Edit: ninja'd!

Yes. I see the audio clips are identical except for #7 on the Pro which is the Morphing. Were all the clips made with the same unit - the Pro - and then posted for both versions?

You can add me to the club, although my Multiwave Bass Distortion Pro has yet to arrive.

I picked it up used like new condition from a fellow TBer. From what I've seen I'm pretty pumped about this pedal. I have a feeling it could replace a lot of the pedals on my board.

Ah! They are identical. We did not think to make separate sound clips for the non-Pro units since the effects are identical. What are your thoughts on that?

This was fun: I had a very impromptu blues jam with some other exhibitors at NAMM and I used the Multiwave Singleband Octave. The amp was very trebley but it made for a good solo tone.

Check out the vid

Jamming with three organ players is a trip.

I would love to see an absolute slewwww of videos with the Multiwave up here! I'm very curious how the pedal fits into everyone's playing styles.
