Have searched here and You Tube for some examples with a bass and traditional bass lines with limited success.
For reference, I like the sound of my early 80's Boss BF2 although it is a bit murky and has a distinctive and often times unwanted bass boost when used; it also has a wasted switch (realize this can be replaced on the PC board).
Any thoughts as to how the SA Flanger sounds?
Looing for true bypass, clear, clean, but warm flanging (no digital artifacts), and no bass bump. |

We have a collection of perhaps 100 effects boxes. Some are analog and sound amazing. Some are analog and sound like total crap (more than you would think). Some are digital and sound like total crap. Some are digital and sound amazing.
We have a few demo flanger units that we could loan out. Send me a PM if you are really interested and have an open mind. |

Don't worry, you figure it out pretty easily. Also, as you can see by the post above me, SA has the best customer service you will find of any major effect's manufactorer. No, I don't work for them. Yes, I do own some of their products (Sorry, I don't have their flanger).

Please let me know either on this thread or through a PM what specific areas you want covered.

Also would be nice to hear something played with a pick.

Please let me know either on this thread or through a PM what specific areas you want covered. | I have no particular sounds that I'm looking for, but I want to give movement to some small parts in a couple songs. I was doing this with delay, but after listening to a recording of my bands last gig, the delay wasn't doing it for me. I'm going to try my SA Phaser, but I worry about how it will sound as well. I've been throwing the idea of a Flanger for it, but its probably the effect I have the least amount of experience with. Looking forward to your demo. |

I was just sitting down the Norwood Fisher for about forty minutes tweaking the sounds of the Flanger through the bass. He specifically wanted to try it out and we obliged. Soooooo...
I would like to extend my sincere apologies to Talkbass and Source Audio for not rocking out on the Soundblox Flanger earlier. It sounds incredible and I'm a fool for not giving it the chance it deserves.
Rock and roll.

Rock and roll. | C'mon Will! Where's the clips you were recording?... By Talkbass rules, we asked for them, so you're not in violation by posting them.

I will be back home from Frankfurt on Sunday afternoon. This week, I will dial in some good sounds and get a quick video posted for everyone to review.

And I just happened to be interested in flanger. The price of the Hot Hand model surprised me...I'm a price conscious buyer. But, that Tri-Mod model looks to be in my price range. So tempting!
