Source Audio Hot Hand? Hey guys! So over the past few months, I've been growing more and more interested in these. But I have quite a few questions. http://www.amazon.com/Source-Audio-S...audio+got+hand Would this be enough to get me those dubstep wobble sounds, or would I need both the pedals for that? Second, can I use this through a regular bass amp, or do I need something different? Third, how much am I looking to run up if I do get one? Amazon is saying roughly 600 for the wireless pack, and both pedals. Could I just get the one I posted here, or would I need to purchase the wireless set also? Any advice appreaciated. :) |
Have you looked at Source Audio website? There are newer pedal options and the Hot Hand 3 that has a receiver that is amazingly small and will let you connect to Source Audio pedals and other brands like the Wah pedal can do but in a much more pedalboard friendly form. Although that Wah pedal looks like fun. At the online store at The Source Audio website they are running a factory direct special on the Wah The BEF Pro will need a fuzz/distortion in front of it to excite the filter and get those synthy wobbles I think you are after. I prefer the Classic Distortion Pro, but they are developing a new overdrive/fuzz/distortion pedal that will be voiced for bass that sounds really exciting. Another popular choice is the Multiwave Bass Distortion pedal and it is available in all three pedal lines. If you do a little more searching you will find a bunch of threads on Dubstep, hot hand and source audio. |
