well, I know how I would do it,Time-division multiplexing.

Just got my hands on the MWBD pro and I must say it really lives up to its hype.
I've just been faffing with it the past few days and I can't stop fooling around with.
It's got some great tones, some not so great, but thats subjective I guess.

I also picked up a darkglass B3K and man, both pedals are just great. I haven't been happier with my tone as with the B3K. I won't use the soundblox live though, well not yet. I'm just using the B3K with my current band, but I'm looking forward to a few random jams with the MWBD

So my guitar player was ogling my MWBD Pro and checking out hot hand videos. Next thing you know he's telling me he's gonna get some Source Audio gear, too

This stuff is contagious.

My MWBD (non pro) is sounding a bit "boxy" for my taste these days. This is even with the clean side cranked.

My lovely wife finally succumbed to my begging and ordered me a BEF (non-pro) for my birthday. It should arrive any day though I'm not supposed to open it until my birthday in mid-March. Yeah, we'll see how that goes

The BEF is my first pedal ever (though I'm pretty sure there is a MWBD in my future). I'm really excited. I did some internet research among envelope filters and there was really no contest. The BEF seems to be the best sounding and most versatile pedal out there.

Will, your demo videos really made a difference. They are excellent; very clear and really show the potential of pedal. Not to mention funky. I can't play anywhere near as well as you but you give me the inspiration to try. Mostly I'm hoping the cool sounds will overshadow how bad I am.

Roger, I'd really like to get in on the free wired Hot Hand deal if there are any still available. Finances are tight right now (which is why I went with the Soundblox I) so I would really appreciate anything you could do for me.

May I have a S.A.S.S member number?

Actually, this will be my second S.A.S.S membership as I'm already a member of the Single Action Shooting Society (SASS-Home of Cowboy Action Shooting) which does Cowboy Action Shooting.

It can! It's one of my favorite effects on the pedal actually. The opening riff of Slurple Gurp uses the square LFO setting to do this:

Source Audio for life, in the 16 years i have been playing bass never purchased a single effects pedal, until this past Christmas my wife bought me the BEF. Now i have the BEF, the Multiwave Distortion, and the wireless hot hand ring. I have finally been able to dial in the Mike Gordon cow funk sound i have been looking for without buying a 4k Modulus. Can i join?

Will, how well does the Soundblox Classic distortion work with a bass? Does it lose low end like the Proco Rat2? I'm looking for a simple distortion like the Rat and feel like the MBD might be a bit more than I need. What are your thoughts?

The Classic PRO is great for the bass since you have the ability to make the necessary back page adjustments. Here is a video we made a while back walking through those steps:

The Pro Classic Distortion works GREAT with the bass, with or without the backpage eq adjustment. The blend is awesome and the range of tones you can get are great because you can program the eq, blend, 2 stage gain, output level and noise gate with each preset. But I think the OP is asking about the standard Classic Distortion and you will not have the backpage bass eq adjustment, blend or programmable eq, but I think it would still be a great pedal if you are into guitar distortion pedals, there are enough models to get plenty of cool tones.

Thank you for the clarification Gadget! I always recommend the Pro first since I know that it has the adjustment options, but it's great to hear that the standard is working well for you!

Also for those interested, here is the demo video walk-through of our EQ video...specific for bass:

When are dealers getting restocked with this stuff? I placed an order for a MWBD Pro and wireless hot hand in the middle of January, and they said it's going to be another 2-3 weeks before they get them in. That's after they said 14-30 days.

It's 8th Street Music...

We expect our restocking shipments to arrive in March and April.

I have the Pro and 100% recommend it, but I think that the standard would work pretty well too. I have some presets without the bass eq setting, no blend and the noise gate set to stock settings, so that would be close to what you'd have with the standard Classic Distortion, but does it have a noise gate?

There's just a lot of value to the Pro model, so it's a better deal in my opinion.
