I notice there are 2 unused "spaces" in the backpage.
The morphing is really, really awesome, but for some presets it would be cool to be able to just say adjust the output level or up the drive amount with an expression pedal. |

Last night I was carefully proofreading the final draft new Soundblox 2 Dimension Reverb manual. This pedal (and its other SB2 siblings) has so many nice little refinements, features and details which have grown out of the extensive and productive conversations we have here about the lack of perfection in our past products. Let me give a couple of examples:
ANY of the knobs on these products can be assigned to the expression pedal or Hot Hand. In addition, you can define the range of the knob which the expression pedal is controlling!
It is possible to easily determine the knob settings of any preset. No more guessing and/or forgetting.
I actually enjoyed reading the manuals!
Thanks to all of you for the constant flow of feedback on our products. It is incredibly valuable. | So... can I trade in my BEF for a price-break on the new and improved version?
LOL, really I'm mostly kidding, just loving the BEF, last night the phaser setting (the lower numbered of the two) just *killed* in a funky jam, so juicy but still present. Mmmm.

Where do you have the speed knob situated? The position of the speed knob does divide the tempo into 1/4 1/8, 1/6 notes etc. Quote:

nope, no pedal connected to the BEFpro
(i have one connected to my LittleGiant which i am able to use to morph my MWBD from preset 1 to 4, 2 to 5, ... using MIDI) |

i was testing it with a preset, so i suppose the knob was completely to the left when i saved that preset... giving a very slow bpm (i'm guessing : x4 slower)
now that i put it in the middle... problem solved
i guess it was working all the time, but i was blind and couldn't see !
thanks for the input, all of you !

Sometimes we can add in a tiny thing or fix a bug after the fact, but big new features via software are not possible/practical.
On a new pedal such at the SB2, we can think about what goes in and what goes out right from the beginning. You will note there is no morphing on the reverb. Not enough code space. |

Anywhere to pre-order the pedal?

In other words, would I hear a difference in between the pedals effects? I like the idea of the BEF Pro and presets, but it sure does take up a lot of real estate...especially if I do the BEF Pro and the MWBD Pro. Decisions, decisions.
Also, if I got the BEF Pro and MWBD Pro, I would only really need 1 of the hot hands, correct? As long as I ran the 1/8" cable....so I could disengage one pedal and use the other with the hot hand or vice versa or both at the same time?

| | | | 1: i think so (but am not sure)
2: of this i am sure: it is indeed possible to use 1 hothand for both pedals, you connect the "sensor out" of one pedal to the "sensor in" of the other.

It is much more than presets and the LFO.
With the pro you can daisy chain one hot hand to multiple SA pedals.
Good luck with the decision!! |

Anywhere to pre-order the pedal? | Hmmm. Heli in BC??
The Expression Pedals came in to us today. 8th St. is likely the first to have them in stock. I am sure they would take an order from you. |

Or if there is no SA expression pedal, can you recommend a good one?
