I called 8th Street Music to ask about the expression pedals. They guy had no idea what I was talking about...haha. He also said they had 50 BEF Pros coming in from SA and that 35 were already sold......so MAKE THAT 36!! And I ordered the wireless hot hand. I put a note on the order for them to call me before shipping so I could add an expression pedal if they had them.

Just got off the phone with 8th Street...they called to confirm my order. The expression pedals are coming in and will be $109.

SO, will the expression pedal allow me to get rid of my wah (which is very seldom used anyway).

I still have my wah on my board alongside my BEF Pro. I find that I can approximate the wah with the BEF Pro/expression pedal by bumping the Q up a bit, bumping the mids a tad in the EQ section and using patch 12. it's probably close enough, but I like using the auto-off on the crybaby.

speaking of expression pedals, my Expressionator came in yesterday! It lets you control multiple pedals simultaneously with the same expression pedal. I can get some seriously angry tones by setting my "wah" preset on the BEF Pro for a normal sweep on the Expressionator and an 8x square wave on the MWBD Pro over the same sweep. The distortion morphs so quickly that you can get it to sound a bit like fingerstyle playing just by sweeping the pedal. I haven't tried messing with that alongside my Hot Hand, but I will be soon!

It will be in all of the new Soundblox 2 videos. We shot most of them yesterday. Hopefully up in a week or so. It works well.

To link the Hot Hand between 2 pedals does it just use a stereo 1/8"to1/8" cable?

NO!!! You must use a 4 contact wire. We put one into the Expression Pedal Box included. Otherwise, we sell them on our web site for like $10 plus shipping.

Ok, guys. I have now ordered meself a BEF Pro to go along with my MWBD Pro.

Maybe a good learning experience would be to try to deconstruct Will's demo song, see if i can get some of those same sounds.

Was waiting for the Expression Pedal to pop up on Amazon due to a $100 gift card I had and it finally did yesterday via 8th Street, so I pulled the trigger!

It seems that my BEF Pro will arrive tomorrow afternoon.

I gotta clean up my board. Get the MXR envelope filter and the bass synth wah off it and sell 'em.

Right now I have a cheap Moog expression pedal plugged into the MWBD for the purpose of morphing between presets. Perhaps I should keep that there and order a Hot Hand for the BEF? I think that's what I'm gonna do.
